How do you keep up with changes in your field when much of your time is already consumed by daily tasks? How can you save time online by implementing active and passive search strategies? Get some practice and hands on experience with select resources for keeping up with controlled vocabularies, classification, indexing, ontologies, thesauri and taxonomies.
This talk is given at the 2014 Data Harmony User Group meeting (DHUG) by Eric Ziecker, who joined Access Innovations in 2013 as an information technology intern while obtaining his master’s degree in library science from the ALA-accredited MLIS at the University of Denver (DU).
