Founder Marjorie M.K. Hlava’s Name Entered Into Congressional Record

 

Albuquerque, NM (June 27, 2013) – Marjorie M.K. Hlava, president and chairman of Access Innovations, Inc., has been entered into the Congressional Record by New Mexico Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham.

Hlava was recognized by Albuquerque Business First as a 2013 Woman of Influence in January. Lujan Grisham entered the names of the 2013 Women of Influence honorees on May 23rd, saying, “It is important to highlight women in our communities who are achieving incredible successes as local business and community leaders. . . . I understand the challenges of being a small business owner and overcoming hurdles that are all too common for women in a male-dominated culture. I appreciate and applaud this year’s honorees, each of whom has contributed to the state of New Mexico in unique and exciting ways.”

By reading the statement on the floor of Congress, Lujan Grisham ensured that the names of Hlava and the 31 other honorees will be archived by the U.S. Government Printing Office.
