“It is an honor to be named a Fellow of SLA,” comments Heather Kotula, “I am proud to join the ranks of this notable group, and I am eager to play a part in shaping SLA’s future.”

The purpose of the Fellows is to support the association by serving as a resource for the membership, the Board of Directors, and the staff on SLA goals and initiatives. These may include but are not limited to mentoring, teaching, speaking, serving as ambassadors for member recruitment and retention, and promoting the value of information professionals.
