Seventh Annual Data Harmony Users Group to Focus on New Features as Well as Cost Savings, Increased Productivity and Enhanced Revenue

FEBRUARY 7-10, 2011 IN ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO

ALBUQUERQUE - The Seventh Annual Data Harmony Users Group (DHUG) meeting is scheduled Feb. 7-10, 2011 at Access Innovations, 4725 Indian School Road NE, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Several new features and options will be unveiled during the annual Features Update on Tuesday, Feb. 8.  A full day of training on how to implement the existing and new options is scheduled Monday, Feb. 7. Attendees will be given a unique opportunity to discuss technical and tactical issues and challenges with Access Innovations staff in an in-person, interactive format.

On Tuesday, Feb. 8 and Wednesday, Feb. 9, participants will learn from case studies offered by Data Harmony users from throughout the world, as well as discussion about how their experience can translate to other settings “This gives our members an opportunity to share ideas and address issues and methodologies with colleagues face to face,” said Marjorie Hlava, president of Access Innovations.

This year’s meeting will include a special seminar entitled “The Theory of Knowledge” presented by Hlava from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10.  The seminar will cover the development of knowledge organization systems (KOS) and their impact on the way we think as distinct cultures, as well as an overview of the growth of the information management industry.
