For the Iowa Legislative Services Agency, Access Innovations created a uniform index for the Iowa Code and the Iowa Administrative Code, as well as developed enhanced electronic index capabilities. Users are now able to build collections across legal documents, according to topic of interest. For example, a user interested in agriculture can find all statutes and rules related to agriculture related to the topic and build a single document containing all related content. A uniform index allows customized, subscription-based delivery of legal documents based on uniform index entries. The user can subscribe to "Agriculture" and be notified of changes or proposed changes to state laws on the topic.
For the National Library Board of Singapore, Data Harmony tools enabled the creation of bibliographic metadata and subject term indexing in all four of the official languages of Singapore: English, Malay, Tamil, and Chinese. This means that NLB can meet its national mandate to provide easy and reliable access to its information treasures.
